Art Club
Coached by Ms. Shanks and Ms. Harris

The Art Club has opportunities for your student to grow creatively, outside of art class. They are given additional chances to explore their own creativity, interests, work on community projects and be recognized for their accomplishments in visual arts. Art Club is open to students in 3rd to 5th grade. Meetings will be held every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month from 2:45- 3:45 p.m.

Battle of the Books
Coached by Ms. Roby

Battle of the Books is open to fourth and fifth graders and will begin meeting in January.  Practices will be on Fridays from 2:05-2:30 in the media center.

Boys To Men
Coached by Mr. Sansbury

The Boys To Men club will discuss such topics as leadership, teamwork, self-esteem, friendships and avoiding cliques, as well as being professional. Boys To Men will be involved in community service and take field trips to FSU Basketball games and will participate in College & Career field trips and seminars.  Meetings will be held every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month from 2:45- 3:45 p.m.

Bucket Drum Club
Coached by Ms. Coleman

A performing student ensemble that plays a variety of rhythms and melodies on 5-gallon buckets. Here students will also learn how to read and notate drum music. Meetings will be held every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month from 2:45- 3:45 p.m.

Fitness Club
Coached by Mr. LeGrear and Ms. Spearman

The purpose of this club is to promote fitness among the student body that will benefit them physically, socially, and mentally. We aim to inspire, educate, and encourage all of our students as well as help guide them to achieve their fitness-related goals. Not only are we here to help each student learn how to live a healthy, active life but achieve their academic endeavors through lessons and values inspired by the club. The fitness club is open to 2nd-4th graders.Meetings will be held every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month from 2:45-3:45

G.E.M.S. 
Coached by Ms. Smart

Girls Empowered to Move toward Success (GEMS) is a female leadership development club. Our desire is to help our girls develop their skills by focusing on excellence in academics, self-esteem, goal-setting, social skills, public speaking, etiquette, and more. Additionally, we instill in them the significance of giving back through community service. As such, this club participates in several community service opportunities throughout the year. Enrollment is open to all girls in 3rd-5th grades. Meetings will be held every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month from 2:45- 3:45 p.m.

Go Green Team
Coached by Ms. Skibicki 

Go Green Team is a club with a focus on going green and saving our planet. This club is responsible for collecting all recyclables in our school. Go Green Team is open to 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders and meets on Wednesday mornings between 7 a.m. and 7:30 a.m.

National Beta Club
Coached by Ms.Todote & Ms. McIntosh

The National Beta Club (often called “Beta Club” or simply “Beta”) is an organization for 4th and 5th-grade students to “promote the ideals of academic achievement, character, leadership, and service among elementary and secondary school students. Meetings will be held every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month from 2:45- 3:45 p.m.

Safety Patrol
Coached by Ms. Coleman

Students in the 4th and 5th grade are selected to serve on the  Safety Patrol team. These students show exemplary behavior inside and outside the classroom. Students serve as door monitors in the mornings, raise the flags in the morning and serve as flag bearers during awards ceremonies.  Students will report to duty during the hours of 7:15 a.m.-7:50 a.m. They will remove the flag at 2:00 p.m. each day.

Science Olympiad
Coached by Ms. Sherman-Williams and Ms. Hunter

Science Olympiad’s mission is to attract 3rd, 4th, and 5th-grade students and develop them in the areas of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). Students compete in rigorous academic tournaments that consist of a series of different hands-on, interactive, challenging and inquiry-based events. Meetings will be held every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month from 2:45- 3:45 p.m.

Technology Club
Coached by Ms. Roby and Ms. Talarico

The students in this club will use computers, iPads, and other digital tools to practice coding and to participate in other technology-related activities. The Technology club is open to 4th and 5th graders. The Technology Club will only meet during the Fall semester. Meetings will be held every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month from 2:45- 3:45 p.m.
